Dallas, TX – The Struts brought their high-energy, crowd-pleasing act to Tree’s Saturday evening to a sold out house. DFW Images first caught The Struts last year as one of the opening acts at “How The Edge Stole Christmas”. After stealing the show that night, The Struts have gone on to opening up for some of the biggest acts in the business, like The Rolling Stones and Guns N’ Roses.

Lead singer Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies hail from Bristol, England where the band originated. Spiller tells the crowd that the band couldn’t get airplay in England and made their way to the states in August 2015. Since that time, they have been touring the U.S. and Canada from coast to coast.  Their fanbase is growing bigger by the month as evidenced by tonight’s sold out crowd and album sales.

Spiller is a mesmerizing frontman to watch with his vintage outfits consisting of mainly women’s clothing, plenty of makeup and wild stage antics. With an outstanding voice and English accent, he’s a true glam rock and roll frontman. Spiller’s showmanship is reminiscent of many rock greats like Freddy Mercury and Mick Jagger with a whole new spin.  The show is high energy and fun. The crowd echoed the energy of the band – jumping and singing along.

We’re not sure when The Struts will be making their way back through the DFW area but keep your eyes out for tour dates and download their latest album.
