The Rail Club, Fort Worth – Lita Ford, the mother of metal, delivered love and red leather to a packed house at the newly remodeled Rail Club on Valentine’s Day. Strutting American Flag cowboy boots and her signature leather, she looked better than any box of chocolate. Ford delivered the perfect Valentine’s treat with songs like “What Do you Know About Love”, “Falling In and Out of Love”, “Cherry Bomb” and “Kiss Me Deadly”.
For those in love, The Rail Club offered up VIP packages including champagne, chocolate, autographed posters and balcony seats, plus a heavy set of opening acts including Rise Above, Little Green Men, Blackout & London’s Dungeon.
Lita Ford, a long time veteran to the rock scene, started with the Runaways over four decades ago. She knows how to put on a show and wields a guitar in very polished form. Ford started the night out with “Gotta Let Go”, a favorite from the 80’s Hair Band Days. Overall the night, was a strong 15 song set with enough to take lovers over the edge.
Lita’s most recent accomplishment is her autobiography ” Living Like a Runaway” where she holds nothing back. Beginning February 22nd in Brooklyn, NY, she will embark on a two week book signing tour spanning ten cities.
